Collection: Original Art for Sale by Helen Evans

My current art practice is realised in acrylic paint on board. I also have a collection of watercolours on paper. Close observation of colour, light and texture are common to each.

My acrylic paintings are concerned with  my immediate environment. My garden which has been planted from scratch over the past 12 years and the stunning landscape around my studio, a 180 view of mountains, farmland, and bush.

My watercolour series " Simple Gifts" is a theme I have returned to periodically for many years, using a range of media. I aim to honour overlooked natural objects for their simple beauty. In more recent years this body of work has become a mindfulness practice for me.
