Collection: Abstracts

Part of a series of abstracted images developed initially from blind contour drawings made on Minjerribah.
As an immigrant to Australia, it has taken many years to come to terms with the vastness, strangeness and fleeting familiarity of this beautiful land. Finding a sense of place in a new country has been a process reflected in my creative practice. Developed from the observation of the strong visual links of nature in the micro and landscape in the macro scale, observational drawing evolved into a series suggesting earth, land or ocean.
